1. Introduction

1.1 Welcome to BarterBucks.co.za, a website operated by Green Media (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2021/946681/07, a limited liability company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa (“Green Media” / “we” / “us” / “our”).

1.2 By accessing and/or using this website, you (the user of the website):

(a) warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that your legal capacity is not diminished due to mental incapacity; and

(b) agree to these terms and conditions which govern the relationship between Green Media and you in relation to your access to and use of the website. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please refrain from using the website.

1.3 You acknowledge and agree that this website is only for use by South African citizens and legal permanent residents of South Africa.

1.4 Green Media, by means of its BarterBucks rewards programme, enables media owners (who wish to participate in such rewards programme) to enter into trade exchange transactions with Green Media to earn rewards (“BarterBucks”), which may be redeemed for certain products and/or services available at the BarterBucks store on this website.

2. BarterBucks Terms and Eligibility

2.1 You will only be eligible to use this website to redeem BarterBucks if you have accepted the terms and conditions of Green Media’s Trade Exchange Subscription Agreement and have entered into a further Trade Exchange Agreement(s) with Green Media.

2.2 The terms applicable to Green Media’s BarterBucks rewards programme, including the earning and redemption of BarterBucks, are set out in the Trade Exchange Subscription Agreement and related Trade Exchange Agreement(s) referred to in paragraph 2.1 above. Accordingly, your access to and use of this website and the BarterBucks store is also subject to the terms and conditions contained in the aforementioned agreements (where you have entered into the aforementioned agreements with us).

2.3 Website users who have not entered into the agreements referred to in paragraph 2.1 above may browse the store only and must complete Green Media’s prescribed registration process and enter into the necessary agreements with Green Media, to participate in the rewards programme, earn and redeem BarterBucks.

3. Redemption of BarterBucks

3.1 Inventory Management: Products and/or services available at the BarterBucks store on this website are updated regularly, at the discretion of Green Media and quantities are limited.

3.2 Order Confirmation: Once an order for a product and/or service (pursuant to a redemption of BarterBucks) is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded unless the product and/or service is defective or unavailable.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 You will receive an Order Acknowledgement from the website within 24 hours of the redemption of BarterBucks for products and/or services on the BarterBucks store and Green Media will contact you to arrange for delivery of the products and/or services.

5. Fraud Prevention and Compliance

All transactions performed on the website are subject to review by Green Media, including to prevent fraud or misuse. Green Media reserves the right to investigate and revoke BarterBucks or suspend BarterBucks, and/or a BarterBucks account in cases of actual or suspected fraud (including in respect of fraudulently earned and/or acquired BarterBucks) and/or any breach of the terms of the agreements referred to in paragraph 2.1 above and/or these website terms and conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 The website, the BarterBucks store and the access to and use thereof is provided “as is,” with no guarantees of accuracy, uninterrupted availability and/or error-free functionality. Green Media is not responsible for and will not be liable for any claims, damages, liability, costs, losses and/or expenses relating to and/or arising from the user’s access to and/or use of the website, the information (including personal information) of any user, or other materials transmitted through the website and/or any related systems of Green Media.

6.2 Green Media will not be liable for any claims, damages, liability, costs, losses and/or expenses relating to and/or arising from any reliance placed on the content or materials on this website by any person. Where AI is used to generate content and/or materials on this website, Green Media does not warrant that such content is complete or accurate, and Green Media will not be liable for any incomplete or incorrect content or materials.

6.3 Further limitations (in addition to the limitations set out in paragraphs 6.1 and 6.2 above) to the liability of Green Media may apply, as set out in the agreements referred to in paragraph 2.1 above, as well as in the product and/or service-specific terms and conditions displayed on the BarterBucks store.

7. Amendments to Terms and Conditions and Conflicts

7.1 Green Media will be entitled to amend and/or update these website terms and conditions at any time and from time to time. You acknowledge that by visiting this website, you will become bound to the latest version of these terms and conditions available and displayed. The latest version of these terms and conditions will supersede and replace all previous versions. These terms and conditions were last updated on 03/02/2026.

7.2 In the event of a conflict between these terms and conditions and those set out in the agreements referred to in paragraph 2.1 above, the terms and conditions of the agreements referred to in paragraph 2.1 will prevail, unless these terms and conditions are specifically indicated to prevail over the aforementioned agreements.

8. Governing Law

These website terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and you consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Courts.

All content and materials on this website and the BarterBucks store belong to Green Media and/or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright. Copying, reproduction, dissemination and/or other use of such content and materials is prohibited.

12. General

12.1 The rule of construction that an agreement will be strictly interpreted against the party responsible for its drafting or preparation will not apply to these terms and conditions.

12.2 Subject to paragraph 2 above, these terms and conditions constitute the whole agreement between Green Media and the user.

12.3 The failure of Green Media to enforce strict performance of any provision will not constitute a waiver of such provision or right.
